Come spegnere l'iPhone se il pulsante di accensione/spegnimento non funziona

Powering down your iPhone is quite straightforward: Hold down the On/Off button and slide to power off. But what if your On/Off button stops working? Your initial step is to check if you’re still under warranty! If you’re still covered, you can have that On/Off button replaced — likely free of charge — at an Apple Store. Apple has a dedicated support page that allows you to check your device’s coverage.

Why won’t your iPhone Power button work?

There are a few common reasons your Power button isn’t working. They include:

  • Your phone case is blocking the Power button.
  • The button is damaged or dirty.
  • There’s a problem with the software or an app on your device.
  • There’s a hardware issue with your iPhone.

Here are a few easy ways to fix your Power button.

1. Shut Down Your iPhone Using The Settings App

If your iPhone is running iOS 11, you can turn off your iPhone in the Settings app. Go to Settings -> General and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Then, tap Shut Down and swipe the power icon from left to right.

2. Check and clean the Power button

  • Remove the case or any protective film to see if it’s covering all or part of the button.
  • Inspect the Power button for any damage.
  • Check for debris or dirt around the button.
  • Clean it with a microfiber cloth or a cotton swab dipped in a bit of rubbing alcohol.

3. AssistiveTouch

If your warranty has expired or you just need to power down the device, you can use AssistiveTouch to access on-screen controls that will let you power down your device.

How to activate AssistiveTouch and power down your iPhone

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Accessibility.
  4. Tap AssistiveTouch under the Interaction category.
  5. Tap the toggle switch to turn on AssistiveTouch.
  6. You should see a small rounded rectangle with a circle in the middle appear on your screen.
  7. Tap the AssistiveTouch icon to launch the on-screen controls.
  8. Tap Device.
  9. Tap and hold Lock Screen until the slide to power off prompt displays.
  10. Far scorrere per spegnere il dispositivo.

How Do I Turn My iPhone Back On?

Now that you’ve turned off your iPhone, you’re probably wondering how to turn it back on without a functioning power button. Don’t worry — iPhones are designed to automatically turn back on when you connect them to a power source.

When you’re ready to turn your iPhone back on, grab a Lightning cable and plug it into your computer or wall charger. Shortly after, the Apple logo will appear in the center of the screen, and your iPhone will turn back on.
